I imagine everyone has a "summer song" but I have several, Regina Spektor's melancholy
Summer in the City
is a favorite. This beautiful poppy blooming by river is anything but melancholy however, and the gleeful children playing in the sunbeam drenched fountain are the epitome of summer happiness.
The beautiful bridge almost robs the clear blue sky of color, so my friend offers the frisbee disk we found laying near the common area to appease the "sun god". Summer time is so beautiful, be sure to go out to your local parks (or another summertime fave for me) your local library!
